We need your help!! 😱😱

Earlier this week our fleet of boats set out to deliver their cargos around the canal network but the museum controller forgot to record which cargo is going where.

A reward is offered if you can find each of the 10 boats and note the cargo and where it's traveling. This mission needs to be completed urgently so visit us this weekend to play your part.

Follow our pirate boat trail throughout the week, can you find the secret code word and prove you’re a true pirate?

Wednesday 28 October: FREE 'Lets Create' session
Meeting at the National Waterways Museum we will take a gentle stroll over to Alney Island where we will forage for leaves and feathers and then make things from what we've gathered! You can make an autumnal wreath, a nature loom, a gorgeous 'river ribbon' hanging and enjoy a lovely canal story before taking home all your beautiful creations! Saturday 31 October: Ahoy Mateys! Its Pirate Day
Enjoy the pirate trail, get transformed with pirate face painting, and come dressed as your favourite pirate for the chance to win a prize. There will also be folk/shanty music between 12-2pm (no museum ticket needed). So grab your crew, dress up and set sail for a day of pirate adventure. No need to book.
