At the end of Volunteer Week the museum team would like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers who have worked so hard to get the museum reopen. It really has been a team effort from maintaining the outside areas, cleaning, preparing and installing collections, fact checking and proof reading text, fixing things, H & S, giving tours, and welcoming visitors when we reopened the doors last week. We couldn’t have done it without you all.

We need more volunteers particularly those happy to be a Visitor Experience Volunteer (no diving knowledge required just a willingness to help our visitors have a positive experience). If you would like to support the museum by volunteering please contact us [email protected] .
