Ancient trees, bubbling brooks and rolling lawns frame this lovely old house. Crafted from a medieval priory, it is full of surprises, with art that intrigues and delights. Discover carpets of spring bulbs, glorious summer roses, rich autumn colours and a colourful winter garden

Explore the rooms of an intriguing house, including a drawing room by Whistler designed to trick the eye and a thirteen

Come back throughout the year to see different exhibitions in the gallery and the latest installations by our artists in residence as well as the house collection of early twentieth-century art

Take in our beautiful estate on foot or by bike. Look out for seasonal flowers and calm tranquility in woodlands beside the River Test. Come and visit us: We are closer than you think to places such as Romsey, Southampton, Winchester, Andover, Stockbridge and Salisbury. Use the postcode SO51 0LP to find us or look out for the brown tourist road signs around the Romsey area.

Calling all rose lovers... now is the time to visit the Mottisfont rose garden and bask amongst the beautiful blooms.

Discover later evening opening and additional opportunities to visit Mottisfont with family and friends. We open late on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Refreshments are available to purchase in our Kitchen Garden kiosk until 7.30pm on open evenings.
