Just ONE place left on my October weekend art courses. So please hurry if you want to join me for a weekend of Painting with Acrylics on 17th & 18th October. Beginners are welcome and all the materials and equipment needed, along with a buffet lunch are included in the fee. The venue is my well lit spacious studio in rural south Norfolk and there are many lovely and welcoming places to stay nearby. 'Days of Summer' is a new small painting finished and framed just in time for my exhibition - on for one week only and opening Thursday 17th September.
'Silent Stories' is an exhibition of recent artworks telling a variety of stories silently and through imagination.
One week only: Thursday 17th to Wednesday 23rd September 2026. 10.30 am to 4.30pm daily including Saturday & Sunday

Lots of hares are about in the Waveney Valley and they are easy to see at the moment in the fields of stubble. The hedgerows are full of berries and apple trees are groaning under the weight of fruit, although many apples are a little bit smaller due to the drought.
It's a good time to start thinking about next year and so I have just posted next years dates for my weekend art courses on my web site at www.nicolaslattery.com All are great for beginners and improvers. The small group size of eight allows me to focus on each person as an individual so nobody has to feel the pressure to work at "group speed". Instead I work together with you on your individual goals and at your own pace.

Hi Nicola Just want to thank you for the printmaking weekend, thoroughly enjoyed every minute , it was both informative and a pleasure in learning a new form of art. The last time I did printing it was with a potato and I was 7 yrs old, that was quite a few years ago and at school, it was just as messy as I probably was last weekend not too sure if I’ve progressed much from then, but it was fun. Popped into the lovely art shop in Bungay before we made our way home. Didn’t have any etching tools, but how can you go into an art store and not buy. Lastly I really must tell you that these weekend courses held in your studio in beautiful surroundings have been an absolute god send to me. Just to be able to think of nothing else for two whole days and immerse oneself in making art, good or bad. So a huge thank you Nicola it has been one of the best experiences ever.
