With the bad weather over the last few weeks, our flags broke with no hope of fixing....it is new flag day today! And what a stunning day it is - blue sky and no wind......lapwings, curlews, oystercatchers and lambs. Lovely!

However the flags are bigger than before - it will be even more of a struggle to get them out when it is windy 😂

Anyone else been thinking it is about time to do some bits and pieces in the garden, or just spend a bit of time using your outdoor space? (As I write this, it is raining, but the sun is trying to shine!) The birds are definitely singing now, love hearing the blackbirds, and we have a local red squirrel here keeping themselves busy!

In the Gallery we have seed dibbers, some woollen hanging basket liners, wool felt blankets for w**d suppression, peg bags, variety of bird boxes, shed door knockers, cane toppers, dog leads and more! All handcrafted with love 😁

After a fab needle felting workshop in December, making a Barn Owl.....the fab is running another workshop with us to make a duckling 🥰

It’s a perfect time to get together with friends and enjoy a bit of creativity whilst learning a new skill.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, with no previous experience, but equally a fun workshop for more experienced felters.

Been struggling with the enormous task of updating the website - but I have a plan, and have updated 2 of my artisans today: and
My motto today is - How do you eat an elephant? One small bit at a time (or never, but that doesn't work in my favour!) All credit for the montage goes to my laptop & AI!!!
Also went for a fab swim in Semerwater this morning, which probably also helped!!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year. The Dales have been absolutely stunning with the cold weather, although taking pictures was pretty tough due to the very cold wind blowing!

Happy 6th Birthday to us!!!!! Doesn't time fly?!! It feels just like yesterday I was trying to work out how the till worked the night before we opened! 🎂🎂🎉🎈🎁

We now have over 100 different artists & makers, space for 22 people to sit and enjoy drinks and cakes, and a room that is much bigger with amazing lighting and 6 big windows (and loads more work!!!)

Do you work from home, or are you on holiday and need to do a few hours of work? Then we could be the place for you.........why not have a change of scenery, and come and work from here? We have the heating on, free wifi, hot drinks and plenty of space to sit. Oh and stunning pictures to gaze at whilst you are thinking!
