Sarah Pye is a contemporary impressionist, specialising in painting woodlands and other landscapes.

Working in my studio or outside whenever possible, freely, intuitively and with little or no drawing. Inspired by the sea and woodlands ,fields and moors, rolling skies and tidal plains. I hope to evoke feelings of peace, space and freedom, a desire to look a little longer, the room to breathe and to conjour up memories of a day. moonlights trancendent glow

RHS SANDRINGHAM ❣️🌸☀️😁Wednesday to Sunday this week❣️😁☀️🌸 ……if you don’t have a room with a view , maybe I can create one for you 😊. If you love your garden and would like to bring it inside then maybe a virtual window would create that effect 😊Or , if you don’t have much outside space but your dream is to have full overflowing borders then perhaps an original painting in full colour would give you a view to enjoy permanently 😊…….either way I hope you have a wonderful visit to this exceptional flower show and I hope to see you there

FINAL TOUCHES 😮‍💨😊The Goring station mural has been under repair for the last few months . Firstly having to dry out thoroughly for about 8 weeks, in a very kind friends large heated space . Then the decaying wood had to be treated and hardened . We needed to add new backing boards to all the panels and fill all the edges with fibreglass car body filler, not to mention fill where the wood had rotted away and to prevent any water ingress in the future . I have then touched up the damaged paint work in various places and each panel has now had 3 coats of anti graffiti protective varnish on the face and on the back to help preserve it for hopefully a good few more years to come 😁👍🌷…….its not perfect , but it’s ready to withstand many more years of weather 24/7 .
She’s being re- installed on Wednesday morning just in time for Gorings Britain in Bloom Judging. Keep your eyes on here ,for a photo of it in place on Wednesday . Or perhaps you’ll see it out of your train window on your commute to work . Either way I hope the grey concrete building that it covers looks a little brighter from now on .😁❤️
