What are your plans for the weekend? The museum and shop are open on Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 4pm this week.

Do our Dr Who Trail, see Kent Costume Trust An Edwardian Promenade exhibition, play in the Children's area and learn about Herne Bay's history. Don't forget about our Crafts by the Seaside sessions on Sunday.

Activity is FREE, normal admission fees apply. Children 16 and under free accompanied by an adult. Adults £4/£3 for concessions.

🌘 Only 2 Days to Go! 🌘

Join us on Wednesday 12th August, 6.00pm–8.30pm, for a special evening at Reculver Towers & Roman Fort as we witness one of nature's most spectacular celestial events.

Although the UK won't experience totality, this will still be a remarkable eclipse to witness, with around 90% of the Sun expected to be covered from Kent, creating an unforgettable sight.

The last total solar eclipse visible from the UK was in 1999, and the next won't be until 2090, making this a fantastic opportunity to experience an eclipse with fellow enthusiasts.

In partnership with SEKAS (South East Kent Astronomical Society), we'll have:

🔭 Telescopes on site
☀️ Safe solar viewing equipment available
🌌 Expert astronomers on hand to answer your questions

Whether you're an experienced astronomer or simply curious, everyone is welcome to join us for this rare and exciting event.
