I will be exhibiting a new collection of paintings that reflect aspects of the Chester landscape that relate to many different elements of place. Chester has so much history, layers and intrigue such as its Roman walls, historic river, the weir, the arches, the beautiful Cheshire plain and of course the iconic racecourse, all fragments of inspirational material. From large moody pieces to atmospheric miniature gems to take away. Come find me at Stand G5 🫶

It’s always rewarding when the work you’ve made, put to one side to dry, then return to to finalise all comes together when placed in the right choice of frame - hope you like these little gems. They are a response to aspects of the landscape of Chester that’s resonates with me personally and will be on display at this year’s FUSION ART FAIR at the Chester Racecourse April 24-25.

Amazing weather and turnout for the first Open Day and Art Trail/Workshop for 2026 out on Hilbre Island - part of CASS and BADA’s creative initiative.

This Saturday (14th March) between 11:30-3:30 myself and Terry Duffy will be running short workshops, part of the the first official Open Day for 2026 located on Hilbre. Come and join BADA for a creative few hours exploring the beautiful Island - meeting at the bouymasters workshop where you can pick up a Hilbre Art Trail sheet, return to the workshop and create responsive drawings and paintings.
£5 per person - all mateirals included,
Please be mindful of the tides and slipery surfaces so keep to the designated route there and back.
