Her observations and quick and lively style of painting perfectly capture the energy of her subjects. Mary Ann received the 'Best Selling Published Artist' award from the Fine Art Trade Guild in 2009. the only self-published artist to receive the award.

The cattle up here in the Northumberland hills are enjoying the grass now it’s May and the winter indoors is over.
Cows and calves high up on the hill, bullocks and heifers lower down.
