Celebrating 100 years of Sir David Attenborough,

Here are a few stunning chimpanzee and gorilla photographs, including one of Cherry Kearton, and animal prints that we have had the pleasure to frame.

Cherry Kearton was one of the very first British naturalist film-makers, who inspired a young Attenborough.

His Majesty King Charles III

Something very special in the shop!

We had the pleasure of framing this very important certificate for Kington Walks. They recieved The King's Award for Voluntary Service in recognition for "Inspiring all through walking, protection footpath and improving health and wellbeing."

In consultation with Kevin Robinson, we choose thick acid free conservation mountboard, specialist picture glass with UV and anti-reflective properties, and a rich dark walnut frame, hand finished with oil.

Very much looking forward to the opening of The Jess Collective exhibition gallery.

"Names are a fundamental part of our identity, acting as both symbol a unique stories coexist with a shared social identifier.... The Jess Collective invites viewers to reflect on how names, and the cultural meanings attached to them, might also influence creative identity."

I am interest to see and learn how each Jess has interpreted local landscapes, flora, fauna and people in their art.

What a lovely evening at The Rodd for the Private Viewing of their Spring Exhibitions:
Tending to Nowhere from the Copy Collective and Another Step Towards Troy with new works from Daniel MacCarthy.

A privy viewing...

It is always nice to be invited to a private viewing of local artwork. This visit was a little different as I was invited, with the artist and curator/gallery owner, to view the work in situ at the customer's beautiful home.

were commissioned to frame this special piece by combining the three individual digital prints into a multi-window mount, then, framed with a simple, yet stylish, deep oak flat-faced moulding. The deliberate use of natural materials was important to pick up on the 'These Rooted Bodies' exhibition theme, which explored various encounters with England's oak trees.

A little lesson in colour...

It was fun to work with Edward on this eclectic series of prints and samples using his fabulous plant-based paints. It was particularly nice to use non-toxic paints in the workshop, with virtually no smell, no headache and no difficult chemical clean up.

The colours featured here are Brick, Indigo, Royal Green Grass and Aquatic.

You might be able to sneek a glimpse of them if you visit the townhouse at 69 Pimlico Road, SW1W 8NE.
