On D Day we remember one of Holsworthy’s Hero’s As a young boy Richard Todd lived at the Elms North Road with his Parents. His father was the local Dr who had one of the first X-ray machines bought by his mother in law. He wrote his story which appears in Holsworthy Caught in the Lens book on sale at Holsworthy Museum
