Hornsea Museum will reopen for the 2026 season on SATURDAY 28 MARCH
The Museum shop will open a week earlier on SATURDAY 21st MARCH
Sorry, no dogs allowed except trained assistance dogs Victorian school room. Childhood and toys display. World War 1 and 2 exhibition. Hornsea Pottery - 2000 item on display. The Whitedale building - The history of the Hull to Hornsea railway line with a working model railway layout including Hornsea station. Also Hornsea's fishing heritage with scale model fishing boats. Last entry is one hour before closing.

CHILDREN’S HALLOWE’EN CRAFTS – SATURDAY 24 OCTOBER
Children are invited to Hornsea Museum’s HALLOWE’EN crafts. This will take place on SATURDAY 24 OCTOBER between 10.00-12.00.
No need to book, just turn up on the day.
All materials are provided in the £5.00 admission.
Grown-ups come for free!
Please remember all children are to be accompanied by an adult (someone 18 years or over)

This Saturday sees Hornsea Museum coming alive with our volunteers dressed in appropriate costumes around our Museum, ready to answer questions and give an insight into our little gem of Hornsea - The Museum. Also Sarah of Pop up Pottery will be on hand in the garden from 11a.m. - 12p.m. and 1p.m. - 2p.m. to help you make something in clay to take home as a memento of your visit to the Museum. £3 per person.

ROCKS & FOSSILS ROADSHOW at Hornsea Museum 11am-3pm. Located at the main gates of the museum on Newbegin.
Fascinated by fossils, or mesmerised by minerals? Join members of Hull’s Geological Society who will be displaying specimens from their collections and invite members of the public to bring along their own ‘finds’ for identification. Fossil-inspired gifts may be purchased in the museum shop.
