We're following this up in July with a a folk music collective who play traditional and original songs, exploring historical music and the macabre. They call themselves The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act (the name a reference to laws of the 16th - 19th centuries).

Then, in August, award-winning jazz saxophonist and composer Betty Accorsi will be providing the entertainment.

We know our younger visitors love a Museum Trail, but this upcoming one is for everyone!

Starting on June 16, you'll be able to follow our trail exhibition of astrophotography by Claire Bradshaw FRAS. 🌌🌠

You'll have the chance to learn more about the life cycles of stars while experiencing the captivating photos of celestial objects captured by Claire from the ground in Horsham.

Photographs will be accompanied by objects from Horsham Museum's own collection, which date from the light year distance of each star - the time when the light captured would have left its place of origin!

Museum of Time: An Astrophotography Trail will be part of your FREE admission. We are open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm.

We have something different for our 1960s stroll this week!

It's early in the decade (both photos in Queen Street taken within a couple of years of each other) showing the scene before the row of shops were built and shortly after they were constructed.

There was a suggestion that the area be used for a playing field but the shops option was taken up.
