The Christmas countdown is on… 🎄✨

At The Half Cut Gardener, we don’t do Christmas decorations by halves…(Well… only literally 😂)

A House… But Make It Half-Cut!
Gorthleck just got brilliantly bonkers.

Our latest installation is a full-on optical delight (or confusion, depending who you ask!) — a half-buried house, complete with a handcrafted brick chimney and a perfectly congregated roof popping out of the ground as if the rest of the cottage has decided to take a wee nap underground.

We built the chimney and roof structure from scratch to mimic a real Highland home, then sank the whole thing halfway into the landscape… because why shouldn’t gardens have a sense of humour too?

This one stopped passers-by in their tracks — exactly the reaction we love.

Check out this driveway makeover! We’ve taken a wide grass border and turned it into a burst of character and colour with our signature touch — whisky barrels half-buried as flowering planters. 🌸🥃

Who says a chicken coop has to be ordinary? This old caravan has found a brand new life — now home to a happy flock of hens, complete with cosy roosts and shelter from the worst of the weather.

Wildflowers are weaving their way up and over, turning this quirky corner of the garden into a buzzing haven for bees, butterflies, and birds alike. 🌸🐝
