Highlights from Collab Exhibition Opening today. Art, music, laughter and chatter.❤️Thanks to all who came along, the ladies who helped out with running the exhibition and a special thanks also to the amazing performers.

The night before an exhibition opening… the artwork is complete and hung and all my clutter is nearly out of the way and the studio looks like a proper fancy gallery space. ❤️ This would not be possible for the kindness and generosity of my support system who powered through it today and yesterday. A huge thanks goes out to Emma, Rhona, Sheila, Liz, Karen, Ann, Trevor, Sheryl, Gregg, Charlie and all who are helping run the event tomorrow. I’m so very grateful ❤️

Please come along if you can for the free family messy play and the Exhibition opening from 4pm to 7pm where there is a silent auction of the large artworks and an amazing, bargain donation gallery wall to buy an original artwork.

There is also an impressive line up of music : Juniper Three
Taylor Made Music and James O’Brien. Drinks and light refreshments will also be served.

This is a difficult post to write. I lost my father today, very much unexpectedly. All classes will be cancelled this week but the exhibition opening will still go ahead, even if I might not be there in person my Dad was so proud of The Little Art Factory and what has been built out of an empty space… the sense of community, happy collaborations and connections and my very close, talented creative family I love seeing week in week out. ❤️ I won’t be advertising the event again as need some time out but please share if you can … local people please come along and support the talent we have right on our doorstep. Lots of messy play things to paint!
Paint large dinosaurs, a big boat, clothes, bugs and add to a large mural created by young people over the summer.

Life drawing workshop in Ayrshire with a twist!

An observational drawing session with a female model, concentrating on capturing their facial features realistically.

There will be long poses to allow for more detail and finished drawings.

The vibe for this session is Pre Raphaelite classical beauty. 🌹

Please get in touch if you would like to perform at The Little Art Factory’s exhibition opening’Collab’ on Saturday 29th of August. This would be acoustic performers as there is no PA available. This is paid and can discuss set times and more once a shortlist is selected.
