The society’s annual general meeting is being held in a meeting room at the Black Boy Pub in Hull’s old town this coming Saturday 30th May, 2 pm.
Anyone interested in what we do is welcome to come along and meet the team after the formal business is completed.

The work progresses on the sailing barges. The good weather is allowing painting of the exteriors. If anyone is interested in helping us restore these lovely historic vessels they are currently berthed at South Ferriby, just inside the river Ancholme sluce and lock. There is a working party there every Tuesday from 10 am. All welcome.

Hi all..Back to watching the lines again this weekend. With the past and expected rainfall this weekend the Ancholme at South Ferriby will be up and down between tides. Some have commented on the lack of Comrades bow lines, there are 3 difficult to see (white) lines from her stbd side that go to the strong bollard that was installed aspecially for this situation.....⛵️
