After teaching a workshop at the wonderful Seaton Sluice Art group today I was able to walk on the beach in the glorious sunshine. Then treated my self to a well needed ice-cream. It was a good day.

Love teaching workshops, but there is alot of planning that goes into them. I am not naturally a list person but find it's a must for an off site workshop. Especially if it's a new subject.

Back to oil painting! I have been working on some watercolours and brown paper drawings for awhile and it is so nice to be back with my oils. Think that's what I like about working in a variety of mediums, it gives me a chance step away from one and use my brain in other ways. I am always excited to get back to painting or other mediums when I have been away from it. Helps to keep my artwork fresh and keeps my creative juices flowing.
