Kirkleatham Museum & Grounds Kirkleatham Old Hall Museum occupies the splendid former free school built in the 18th century by Cholmley Turner.

eum is a popular attraction for the Redcar and Cleveland region, particularly since the installation of the famous Saxon Princess exhibition, featuring rare Anglo-Saxon artefacts unearthed from the Cleveland region in 2007. Access to the museum is free with free parking facilities. Closed Mondays except Bank Holidays

The museum has three floors and are accessible for wheelchair users. Disabled Toilets facilities and Guide Dogs are Welcome.

Not long now until Redcar Kite Festival brightens the skies above Majuba Beach on Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 June.

If you would like to get involved, we have a fabulous free workshop coming up on Saturday 30 May 10am – 3pm with artist Diamond Kites.
