Situated in the Royal Pump Rooms
Free admission The entire exhibition is changed every two years.

The Art Gallery, sited in the hall of the former hydrotherapy pool, shows fine and decorative art works selected from the paintings, ceramics, sculpture and glass Collections. Our Haddie's Gallery is a family Gallery that allows children to join Haddie, the circus elephant, to discover what life was like in Victorian Leamington Spa. The Local History Gallery, located on the footprint of the former

Turkish Bath, presents the story of Leamington's development from a rural village into an elegant spa resort, and then into the thriving town we know today. It includes a Hammam (cooling room) preserved from the original Turkish Bath. Our Temporary Exhibitions Gallery is used to show a wide variety of exhibitions exploring the contemporary and historic visual arts and local history.

Coventry Cathedral - a Revolution in Ecclesiastical Art

Join our speaker Aidan McRae-Thompson for a discussion on the ground-breaking architectural design and artworks in glass, bronze and tapestry created by celebrated contemporary artists that made this cathedral an artistic milestone like no other.

It inspired a new approach after centuries of traditional church art and yet remains a unique synthesis of art and architecture that was never fully embraced by the builders of new churches in the decades since.

This week from the 1-7 June, we are celebrating and we start the week addressing AI in the Museum.

This is a portrait of an unknown sitter by an unknown artist. We have used reverse image searches to help us identify who the sitter in this portrait might be. Although we didn't find out who the sitter was, the results did help to direct our research.

AI applications such as this can be a useful research tool when used carefully and is just one in a range of sources that are consulted.

Join winner of France Brodeur Award, Francesca McGowen to explore the social and architectural ambitions behind post-war British high-rise housing, often described as ‘Homes in the Sky’.

Through discussion of her own sculptural and painterly work, Francesca will reflect on the relationship between the Machine Age, the concrete era and the emotional life of built environments.
