HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL FOM TAKE 4
This will be our last post as Winona and I are no longer owners of TAKE 4 i.
It is in safe hands though with a core committee and a group of artists including myself exhibiting there in the not too distant future
Thank you to all that have supported us and for Ledbury who took us under their wing and let us fly!!
Come and visit TAKE 4 in early Spring and see a new fresh input of ideas as well as a fresh lick of paint!!

Well , what can I say other than I have loved being part of Ledbury with its amazing high street, eclectic mix of shops and wonderful traders to boot! Winona and I set up TAKE 4 up almost 5 years ago and it has gone from strength to strength. A new chapter is on the horizon but fortunately TAKE 4 cooperative (run by a group of artists, of which I am one) will still be here to welcome you .
So thank you for so many lovely times, for the artists , the art students and so many visitors who have helped to make it such a special place.
Thank you to Winona for enabling TAKE 4 to happen and to Cheryl and Karen for their stalwart support.
TAKE 4 will be open until Christmas Eve but if you fancy having a chat with me, my last day as co owner of TAKE 4 will be tomorrow ( Friday 22nd December)

BREAKING NEWS AT TAKE 4 ! Ledbury , Herefordshire
2024 will see a change at TAKE 4 as Winona and Caroline who have owned this lovely gallery for almost five years pass on the baton to a new management team . They hope to open the doors early in February 2024 and TAKE 4 will now be called TAKE 4 Cooperative. There will be around 24 artists who will regularly exhibit at the TAKE 4 Cooperative with rolling exhibitions enabling the gallery to remain lively and vibrant. They want you, our loyal customers , and all visitors to feel it is the same welcoming space that we hope you feel we have created so watch out for special events, workshops and a new TAKE !

It’s always a pleasure to have Tessa Tyldesley with us and the TAKE 4 clan have all been tempted by her stunning jewellery! Using a combination of silver and semi precious stones she creates contemporary pieces that are suitable for any occasion . Tessa is with us at TAKE 4 from 11 until 3 and would welcome a chat.

Love Chipping Campden and it will always hold a special place in my heart as it’s where I spent my teens and early twenties. Walking down that sublime high street , aged 14, my jaw literally dropped at the sheer beauty of the high street . I’d come from Hathersage in Derbyshire and though I loved it there for the wildness of the moors that surrounded it , the harsh greyness of the granite was such a contrast to the golden hues of the Cotswold stone.

Jeanette Hannaby is with us today at TAKE 4 from 11 until 2. An enamel artist she portrays her landscape and flora and fauna images using powdered glass. She also has designed some striking jewellery too so pop in and have a peruse!
