We examine how his presence and absence reveal the ways in which anatomy has been shaped by race, exclusion and erasure.

Something magical is growing... 🌿

Created in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society, Where Magic Grows is our brand-new family exhibition, inviting you into a wondrous indoor garden where plants whisper, herbs heal, and folklore comes to life. 🌻

Explore nature through a multi-sensory journey of play and discovery. Wander through a mossy, tactile landscape filled with oversized plants, discover hidden networks beneath the soil and curl up in cosy spaces. 🌱

Co-produced with five young curators and artist Helen Brook and developed in partnership with the RHS - the UK’s gardening charity, helping people and plants to grow. This exhibition encourages curious minds of all ages to slow down, explore, and uncover the healing properties of nature growing all around us. 🪴

Mary Paterson is remembered as a victim tied to the West Port murders, overshadowed by the men who profited from her death.

We disentangle the myths from the facts and explore how many people like Mary were objectified, dissected, and displayed, without their consent or knowledge.

By highlighting her story, we question the human realities beyond the anatomy table.

Go on a sensory journey and find the crochet organs hidden across the museum. Expect to find woolly eyes, brains, tummies and intestines – and link them to the objects in your bag!

Are you team McDreamy or McSteamy? Why is it never lupus? Can you see one, do one, teach one?

We’re pulling back the curtain on the drama and the reality (or lack of) behind medicine on screen. 🩺
