Step into a world where fibres, nature and history interweave...our new exhibition Untangled opens tomorrow!

From the International Felt Makers Association Region Ten, nature-inspired Untangled transforms our historic mill spaces into a colourful artistic landscape, as well as branching out to the Colour Garden and grounds.

Each piece invites you to explore the deep-rooted connections between nature, craft, and the machinery that once spun our city’s story. Discover felt nests, fungi and more on our special trail, highlighting wonderful northern craftsmanship.

Untangled opens Saturday 23 May and continues into 2027. Included in general museum admission.

We're looking for a Freelance Conservator and a Freelance Evaluator to help with our project Reimagining Railways: Interpreting the Locomotive Collection.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund have funded this project to redisplay and reinterpret the historic Locomotive and Railway Gallery at Leeds Industrial Museum, after over a decade of closure.
