These strings have just arrived from . Cannot wait to get stuck in replacing them over the weekend! A good friend recently lent me his short-neck bağlama saz, so I can get a feel for the instrument and work out whether it’s going to be a long term love affair or just a short fling!

Projecting SEEK onto outside windows at Patrick Studios during the closing event of I’m Sorry exhibition.

Seek is a short video by German artist Silvia Liebig and myself, developed from conversations covering language, human connections and a 3D scan of a husk called ‘skyape’, during our AV KunstLabor in Dortmund in 2023.

Pop over while you’re out for Light Night on the evening of 23rd of October, 4 - 9 pm, at Patrick Studios and Convention House .

I’ve been experimenting with multi-channel sound for a while now. As per my usual I feel the need to go back to the individual elements that build the system rather than diving straight into ambisonic sound. As well as the big investment that comes with the system.
I’ll have some work in progress set-up during this weekends Open Studios, so if you’re interested come and say hi!
