Curated by Two Queens and Phoenix, this new exhibition brings together work by artists responding to themes of technological trust and mistrust, comfort and discomfort, connection and dependency.

This exhibition is part of a long running series of collaborations and exchanges that Two Queens has developed for associate artist members to exhibit work outside of the city or our own building

The exhibition launches alongside “All Being Well” at our gallery on Queens street as part of Last Fridays on 31 July

Exhibition Announcement: All Being Well
1st-15th August 2026
Opening night, Friday 31st July, 6-9pm

Since summer 2023, Two Queens has been running regular open drop-in Creative Wellbeing sessions, open to anyone who feels their health and wellbeing could benefit from spending time making art with others. This exhibition showcases work by artists who have participated in the group over the past year, in a wide range of media and made in varying states of wellness.

The Creative Wellbeing group has become an increasingly important part of Two Queens’ work, and allowed us to work towards our ambition to be an open public space for art-making. Sessions run without the expectation of set outcomes - either for creativity or wellbeing - All Being Well, artists might take part, and some art may be made.

This approach has been hugely beneficial, allowing the natural emergence of a strong cohort of dedicated makers, for whom the sessions have provided purpose, structure, resources and community. The exhibition seeks to celebrate the achievements of the group, and to test out how this work can be shared publicly.

Throughout the exhibition, part of the gallery will function as a free, open space for making, with basic materials and tools provided. Everyone is welcome to use this space during exhibition opening hours to work on their own projects, or to make works to contribute to an evolving display.

This project is made possible by public funding from The National Lottery through The National Lottery Community Fund and Arts Council England. A budget to support the participation of those with access challenges and people on low incomes is available, for example to cover public transport costs to attend.
