My hero Huxley the dog,
A true professional sock thief, each day if the opportunity arises, mischief will be sure to follow! But at midnight when I'm in my little studio creating my next piece, he's still there — under the desk, snoring, making sure I don't quit - Not Just A Friend, A Guardian.

2 years, 1000 walks, and he still does that special head tilt

Here's to the dogs that save us without even knowing it.

If you have a hero like him, you get it. 🖤

A Study into the Evolution of Art, Fashion & Exposure....

On Monday 4th of May 2026 The MET Gala brought together all the glamour with - Costume Art as a theme,
The Brilliant Zac Posen & Delightful Kendall Jenner worked together to create a beautiful dress, with Zac given freedom to express his take on the evolution of art via fashion, gaining inspiration from the Winged Victory Of Samothrace...
One of the main questions I heard that night was, does fashion dictate art or does art dictate fashion??? A great question, but really it has one beautiful answer... Art & Fashion work together & grow together, & it's not a question of asking which leads which - it's about accepting Art is Fashion & Fashion is Art!!!
Onto my piece & I thought what a great opportunity to take Zacs design further by applying it to a canvas, Audacity is a thing that amplifies an idea so I decided to go back to the late 1800s & use Madame X as my main source of inspiration... But I didn't just copy from inspiration - I used subtle creativity via imagination, example - The clouds represent wings & the main sillouette (clouds,Kendall & Path) with squinted eyes make up the shape of the Winged Victory Of Samothrace - these things are deliberate & are great little tricks worth doing...

I hope this painting finds a really lovely home that understands the thought behind the actions & more than that, takes delight in the colour & brush strokes...

& Finally Big Thanks to & for creating such a wonderful dress & making this art possible... I wish the both of you much success & if seen are both delighted & proud to have been immortalised...

Saddened to hear about the passing of Legendary Artist
This is my respect piece to another legend who's sadly left us.... I wish he could've got to see it, but I know he wasn't bothered about such things... Personally think this is the time for an artist to be immortalised ✨✨
But I need say no words, as art gives the answers...

Happy Birthday to the legend that is Sir David Attenborough - 100 years young!!!
Nobody has better described the power & emotion of wildlife better...
Through the he has educated many a generation & without such caring common sense & knowledge taught, things could end up devastating - I will always applaud his blunt use of words when it comes to our sustainability, I just hope we're not playing the old human nature trick of listening & celebrating, but not acting till it's to late!!!
I think David would agree that he'd swap birthday celebrations for proper action!!!
