FOUND IN THE GROUND
Do you pick up pieces of pottery or coins when you’re gardening or walking in fields? Have you seen things glistening on a river bed? Do you wonder where they came from and why they are there?
Leominster Museum wants to see and hear about what you have found.
We will have a stall at the Leominster Festival Fun Day on June 13th at The Grange. Come and find us and show us what you’ve found. There will be art activity and a digging pit for children to find treasure.

All across town this summer arts and heritage groups are looking at treasure. Art, craft and history projects will be everywhere, waiting to be discovered. What will you find?

FOUND IN THE GROUND
This year, Leominster Museum is looking at how people collect found objects. From metal detecting to mudlarking in rivers, finding things while gardening or just picking things up on a walk: many of us have our finds at home in a jar or a drawer.
What have you found? Have you ever wondered why it was there?
We will be running a series of free activities where we will investigate what has been found in Leominster and how to find out more. We will be making art, telling stories and learning about our history from ordinary (and extraordinary) objects. Come and join in if you are interested!
We will have a stall at the Leominster Festival Fun Day in The Grange on June 13th, with displays and experts to help you identify what you have found.
