AMERICA IS 250 YEARS OLD TODAY.
in The Scottish Witch Trial Museum we have a wee wooden book ,carved from the once Great Elm tree that was planted 1670 on Boston Manor.
It was here The seven leaders of the Revolution declared American independance under the trees branches.
It was also used as a hanging tree .
Indian chiefs pirates and Witches met their end here.
In 1876 the tree was dead, they carved a chair out of the wood and it sits proudly in Boston library today....the made several wee wooden books out of the wood left..we have one in the Witch Trial Museum.

Its been a wonderful year with much excitement for me!
I have the experience now of running a successful museum for my second Christmas ...but this year i faced some tricky situations....
A lovely dog took a treat from me...then tried to spell his name with a massive turd on the carpet!
A womans waters burst!... 20 min into the tour!
Over all ,7 folk fainted in the shop over the year.
A visit from Scottish MP...i was pre phoned what questions to ask and how long to the second they would visit for....
A visit from a female Dwarf...she even laughed at my joke..." in for a wee look around."
A visit from an Oscar winner......good guy!

Many international guests all kept me busy and i thank you !
Im open again from 2nd January but if you have guests over for the hols give me a shout and i will open for you.
