What a year!
Last year I said farewell to the WIA Gallery, a gallery I set up in Lewes with a women only roster and a manifesto to exhibit feminist, avant garde work. It has also marked the end of weareWIA, my long-time online platform showcasing women artists and their work. While I’m sad to see the end of these much needed initiatives, and, disappointingly, 9 years since they were established, there is still so much work to do (see Trump; UK Equal pay; any artist review if a woman mentions her partner if heterosexual, and who is looking after her kids, and recent NYT piece ‘Did Liberal Feminism Ruin The Workplace ?’.) These accounts continue the fight, and need your support: , .history .by.women_women.in.arts to name just a few.
This year I moved my focus to working with individuals and groups. I empower them to make headway to understand the patterns that keep them stuck. and work towards achieving their personal, professional and creative goals. I qualified as a certified coach in success, mindset coaching and as a practitioner in hypnotherapy and NLP.
