📣SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT📣

Tomorrow morning we will be welcoming local Artist Nisbet Art to our Museum to begin drawing some of our vehicles. 🖌🎨

🖍Simon creates wonderful drawings of local landmarks in and around Preston and Leyland that you may recognise. You might also have noticed Simon's work in the 2026 Harris Open in Preston (see picture ⬇) 🖌

✨We can't wait to see what masterpieces he creates tomorrow whilst exploring the vehicles in our museum.

Please note that the Leyland Heritage cafe is closed, however the Museum team will be supplying complimentary tea & coffee for visitors 🫖☕️

🚒 We have over 5️⃣0️⃣ lovingly restored and preserved vehicles in our collection!! 6 of which visitors can board inlcuding a 1930s Merryweather fire engine and a vintage ambulance 😍

❤️Sunday 14th June 2026: The famous Leyland Band will be celebrating their 80th year playing a wide range of well known music! They will be performing in the Museum alongside its beautifully restored collection of historic vehicles 😍

💚Monday 15th June 2026: 'Swing 26!' featuring Julian Gregory, one of the UK's finest Violin/Fiddle players, with top musicians on Keyboard, Guitar, Double Bass and Drums 🎻🎹🎸🥁

A programme to include Jazz, Blue Grass, Gypsie Jazz and Latin American numbers 😍

🌟🌹Please support our Volunteer Graham in raising money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation 🌹🌟

Graham's story 💙
When I was diagnosed in 2024 the NHS and particularly The Rosemere Cancer Centre gave me successful treatment which resulted in me ringing the bell in December 2024.

During the treatment I walked to raise funds for Rosemere Cancer Foundation. As I approach the end of my monitoring period during my birthday month of May I am walking 10000 steps a day to raise awareness and more funds. If you are able then please donate.

My message to you is the same as last time. If you have the opportunity to take a cancer screening test then do it. Early diagnosis and early treatment is the key.
