What a fantastic afternoon on Tuesday, we were delighted to host 2026 West Lothian Provost's Awards, congratulations to all the winners!
West Lothian's Community Champions Honoured at 2026 Provost's Awards
Congratulations to the outstanding winners of the 2026 West Lothian Provost's Awards.
The annual awards celebrate individuals and voluntary groups who have made an exceptional contribution to community life across West Lothian, recognising those whose dedication, compassion and commitment have made a real difference to local people over the past year.
The winners were revealed at a special ceremony held at Linlithgow Burgh Halls, where Candice McKenzie and Endo Warriors West Lothian were named the overall winners of the 2026 Provost's
Award in recognition of their tireless work raising awareness of endometriosis and providing invaluable support to those affected by the condition.
Awards were also presented to:
Community Impact Award – Paddy and Lizette Bingham, of Rotary Club of Livingston, for their long-standing commitment to fundraising and supporting charities and community groups across West Lothian.
Community Group Award – Singergie Choir, represented by Lynne Jack, for bringing people together through music and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
Community Wellbeing Award – Hazel Orr and Breast Friends and Family for the exceptional support they provide to people affected by breast cancer and their families across West Lothian.
Volunteer of the Year Award – Daniel MacIntyre and Carla McKay (Stoneyburn and Bents Future Vision Group SCIO) for their dedication to supporting young people through the Elevate youth group and wider volunteering within their community.
Significant Achievement Award – Candice McKenzie and Endo Warriors West Lothian Endo WL for their outstanding efforts in raising awareness of endometriosis and supporting those living with the condition.
Provost Cathy Muldoon said: “Huge congratulations to all the winners of this year's West Lothian Provost's Awards.
“The awards recognise some of the remarkable people and organisations who work tirelessly to support others and strengthen communities across West Lothian.
“We received an impressive number of nominations, highlighting just how many inspirational individuals and groups are making a positive difference every day.
“All of our winners should be incredibly proud of their achievements, and I hope their stories encourage others to get involved and support their local communities.”
