How delightful are these woodcuts, created by Gill Edwards of Glyn Ceiriog, partner of the previous post artist Ian Edwards. Especially drawn to the cat prints as a cat lover. Beautifully captured and some wonderful wood grain showing through, creating lovely mark making.

Feeling magically christmasy at Llangollen today, with festivities throughout town. Many admirers of John Peacocks work at the gallery, these recent work by John inspired by nursery rhymes, come by to see the details close up. Fun pieces. Fireworks and Christmas lights switch on at 5 , open up to then. Happy weekend.
