Happy National Creativity Day! Today is a day to encourage everyone to explore their creative potential and celebrate imagination, whatever that looks like for each of us.

In the past couple of years I have had the privilege of showcasing work from more than 300 artists . I'm looking back on some of the wonderful artists who have shared their working practices with us in the gallery - ranging from painting to printmaking, embroidery and tapestry to sculpture and collage. Thank you for joining me and sharing such wonderful insight into your creative worlds!

BobCat Gallery is teaming up with Ascent Collective Events and wine expert Shehnaz Hansraj, presenter of The A-Z of Wine with Shehnaz, to offer a relaxed and engaging evening featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of botanical themed artwork and delicious wines.

‘Pastures’ Wine & Paint Pairings will take advantage of the beautifully designed Lounge at The Hearth, Queens Park, to offer both beginners and seasoned wine lovers the chance to try some tasty new wines, surrounded by a specially curated, one-night only exhibition of affordable original artworks with a botanical theme.

Whether you’re flying solo, joining in as a couple or with a group of friends, we provide an easy going atmosphere and the chance to find your new favourite wine - and artwork!

✨ Texture ✨

There are some gorgeous textured works in the gallery right now - ranging from impasto layers of paint to delicately pleated & stitched paper, plus beautifully marbled, hand painted Indian slate, hand syringes ink & resin, plaster relief and even recycled materials 😻

Shop the May collection in store and online until Saturday! The gallery will be closed for a few days next week while I have a little refresh for June, so if you've spotted something you love, let me know now...

Ready for a taste of the Mediterranean? Join us on Thursday 11th June (6-7.30pm) for an evening where art meets the ancient vineyards of Greece. I'm thrilled to welcome back wine expert and TV presenter Shehnaz Hansraj for a guided tour of Greece’s most exciting summer pours.

Why can't I see any prices...?

I change the display here in the gallery so often that printing labels becomes wasteful - I'm doing a little bit for the planet and saving some paper, but I have all the prices at my fingertips if there's something you're interested in. Just point and ask, I'll share the cost and a little about the artist too - after all, I have hand-selected every piece!

Remember, if you've fallen in love with something and need to split the cost, you can also pay in interest free instalments over three months 😻
