Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art

Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art The CCA is a space open and free to all. Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art will open to the public in May 2018.

Located on the campus of Goldsmiths, University of London, Goldsmiths CCA hosts exhibitions, a programme of talks and events, and 'Residents', our space for artists, academics, activists and local practitioners. It is a Grade II listed building being designed by Turner Prize winners Assemble, and will show a programme of exhibitions, events, talks and residencies by international artists. Formerly, the building was a wash-house and water tanks which supplied Laurie Grove Baths with water.

📺 NEW ON CHANNEL AND LAST WEEKEND 📺

Amy Tobin’s presentation on Paper Tiger Television (PTTV) is now available to watch on the Channel page of our website! Tobin discusses two programmes that PTTV made in the early to mid-1990s, Sisterhood™: Hyping the Female Market (1993) and Twist Barbie: Lynn Spigel Dreams of a Plastic Feminism (1994).

It’s also the last weekend to view these programmes in our exhibition Paper Tiger Television ‘It’s 8:30. Do you know where your brains are?’.

PTTV and Christina Mackie ‘Material Reality’ both close this Sunday 19 April, so make sure you visit!
