Women in Art Fair

Women in Art Fair Women in Art Fair is a new initiative dedicated to redressing gender imbalance in the art industry London's art scene is the most vibrant in the world.

Women in Art Fair is a new art fair dedicated to readdressing the gender imbalance in the art industry. WIAF seeks to create a positive global fair, from which women and those identifying as women, are given an opportunity to show their work and contribute to developing the exchange of ideas around gender, and culture. Women in Art Fair aims to work with galleries and artists to show creative, inf

luential and powerful art through cultivating, promoting, and supporting the work of female artists through its educational programme supported by schools and art colleges. The fair aims engage experts, curators and collectors in public discussions that to open doors to a constructive, insightful dialogue about what it means to be a female artist, with both the gifts and challenges of expressing their creative talent. We form collaborations and partnerships with creative, inspiring and influential businesses interested in supporting this demographic. ✨Explore everyday with inspiration and wonder - 1 hour workshop with Emmi Salonen ✨🌿🪷

When wonder fades, the world can feel flat — every day a repeat of the last. In this playful, uplifting session, Emmi Salonen will help you rediscover your sense of curiosity and reignite your creative spark.
In this session you’ll explore what lights you up, identify the “wonder drains” dulling your spark, and design a personal wonder ritual to carry into your week.
You’ll leave with tools to: spot where wonder already exists in your everyday life and sustain creative energy through Emmi’s Creative Ecosystem model.

Emmi Salonen is a graphic designer, creative director and educator who founded London-based Studio Emmi in 2005. Her work centres on Positive Creativity – the idea that design can connect people, foster wellbeing and support sustainable choices. She is the author and designer of The Creative Wellbeing Handbook (BIS Publishers).
Emmi developed the Creative Ecosystem model to help reduce stress and burnout. A leading advocate for creative wellbeing, she speaks internationally at academic institutions and conferences. Her insights are grounded in both experience and training, including Yale’s The Science of Well-Being course. She is a Happiness Facilitator, RSA Fellow and has contributed to the AI for Human Flourishing think tank at Harvard’s Institute for Quantitative Social Science.

Join Professor Daisy Fancourt (UCL Psychobiology & Epidemiology), sculptor Sadie Clayton, Japanese artist & designer June Mineyama-Smithson, and Wellness Expert & WIAF Fair Director Jacqueline Harvey for a dynamic panel on creativity and mental health.

Research in neuroscience reveals that creative activity supports neuroplasticity, reduces stress hormones, strengthens emotional processing and enhances cognitive flexibility. Simply put — creativity helps your brain adapt, regulate and thrive.
In a world defined by constant digital stimulation, protecting your creative health is protecting your mental health.
This is a rare opportunity to explore the science behind art and wellbeing, understand how creativity builds resilience and nervous-system balance, and connect with a community invested in sustainable creative lives.
Rediscover why art and creativity matter now more than ever.
