For several years now we have had an obsession with Rare British Art Glass, and it all started off with Whitefriars Ducks. I was never particularly interested in glass, I didn't know anything about it, but I have always had a keen eye for design and attitude. ally rich and luxurious, I have to say I was impressed. When I put the duck on display on the windowsill it got even better. The light shining through the window made a real feature of the duck, and the colour was beautiful in the sunshine. It was real quality and a super little object. I wanted to know more. I done some research online and found that these ducks came in a variety of styles and an array of colours to die for! Some of the displays and pictures from other collectors of these rare little objects were jaw-dropping and I was absolutely hooked. The more we found the more we learned, and it was wonderful. Some of the ducks are extremely rare and highly sought after by other collectors, and some of the one-offs are virtually priceless!!! Now we have created a website dedicated to these Rare pieces of Art Glass in the hope that other people can get as much pleasure as we have, and enjoy Whitefriars Ducks as much as we do.
