House Mill Gallery The House Mill Gallery hosts a rolling programme of artists and designers from May to October. It can be walked from Stratford and Canary Wharf along the canal.

Artists range from local ‘makers’ to internationally renowned artists. The Gallery is available for hire on application by individuals or groups of artists and designers. The Gallery is housed in the oldest and largest tidal mill of its kind in the world. Built in 1776 the Mill is Grade 1 listed and now owned by the House Mill Trust. The Gallery has been developed as part of fundraising plans to p

rotect, restore and maintain this legacy of our industrial past. The space offers a unique showcase for fine and applied artists in the growing contemporary creative culture of east London. Set in a beautiful riverside location in the heart of London’s East End, reached by footpaths from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stratford Centre along the canal, with the nearby Three Mills film studios. Footfall is steadily increasing as new luxury flats are built in the surrounding area, In addition the Mill house boasts a well stocked cafe offering snacks and beverages. The House Mill is easily accessible from Bromley-by-Bow and a short walk from Mile End tube stations and Bow Road DLR. There is 3-hour free parking at the nearby Tesco if you wish to shop.
