artists, actors and musicians from deprived and inner city backgrounds. By funding after and out of school classes the Foundation will provide children with the tools and

A fantastic Friday with our artist in residence being supported by our ceo

We have 11 young talented artists being supported with an art therapy workshop by .uk

Our 11 young artists are creating a piece of art ‘What makes you happy ‘ painting in their own medium for our up and coming exhibition and we will be showing a short film by our brilliant youth ambassador which we can’t wait to see!

This is an exhibition being supported by .uk The evening will feature a new typographic commission by artist Zoe Grace exploring Change Your Mind, alongside work created in collaboration with HVH Arts through a Grass & Co.-sponsored workshop asking one simple question: what makes you happy? Our ‘creative roots ‘ programme with delivering a fantastic first session at The Hive supporting our children and young people with an interesting talk about snakes , hedgehogs , hedging and conservation of the work they do on Hampstead Heath . Our children went up to water the hedges , our young photographers enjoyed our documentary photography session with our ceo and captured fantastic images which we will exhibiting as part of our ‘Creative Roots’ programme being funded by as part of the community Cil funding grant.

Thai half term all our workshops are curated at supporting mental health for our children and young people - outdoor activities in art , photography and being surrounded by nature is a positive impact on keeping our minds and body healthy🎭

We are celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month of May this half term with our young people all studying hard for exams and the pressure they feel can be overwhelming for them … to relieve anxiety we are working with our Youth Ambassador and our ceo for the first two days of half term . Manon and Debbi had a meeting as part of the youth ambassador program at HvH ARTS- Manon curated a beautiful creative yogi based project “Grounded by Greenery” where we all experiment with Hatha - Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga practices followed by walks on the Heath or staying local in our community creating artwork inspired by nature - it was a joy to witness such an incredible day filled with creativity , freedom and love with the HvH Arts Family !

One of the best events we have had the opportunity to attend at PIRATE CONNECT26 - giving young emerging artists access to this FREE event - masterclasses - panel talks - the opportunity of performance by our young people .music - a chill out room where we saw not only can we perform we can make art! The day provided everything we got so much from - the chance to connect - the opportunity to perform - meeting other young artists and watching some of the best curated performances that and support In the UK- it was fantastic — Bravo and team
And thank you for being such a legend and giving our young people so much time to talk and some backstage photos with you !

Can’t get this song out of our heads!! So proud of Thalia and Isaiah performing an original song ‘The Night’ at the PIRATE CONNECT EVENT with massive thanks to Emily and the team for giving our young people this amazing opportunity. This is only made possible by having FREE access to the incredible Pirate Studios in Camden developing the next generation in music !

Today we painted on canvas choosing a medium we wanted to paint in to explore the theme “What Makes Me Happy” through expressive canvas painting supported by artist in residence and our ceo -our young artists are creating their own unique artwork in a supportive and inspiring environment focused on wellbeing and self-expression. Their pieces will be showcased ON 24th June as part of a collaborative wellness launch with British Artist and .uk and HvH ARTS having this incredible opportunity for our young artists to show their work!

Here’s how we got our concept for our short film project with scriptwriter and actor .a and moved into a session about set design and prop making with - this amazing project has been designed with our ceo in partnership with and - it has been one of the most inspiring projects we have had the opportunity to deliver — next up - our tour to studios!

As part of our introduction day on our film pilot we had two incredible professionals in the film industry from .ie and who both came along and gave us the most inspirational and aspirational talk about professions in the film industry! Thank you Jacob and all for a fantastic workshop - we had an art tour of the farm, linking each animal to an art-making process like egg yolk for tempera paint and using natural dye from plants! The children loved planting some green bean seeds and were told they could harvest them in the summer. Revisiting the natural dyes using paper to capture the colours and collecting some plants for a follow up session to use natural dyes for painting and pressing flowers would be wonderful to add on to the idea of harvesting!
