hing out to Chinese contemporary art lovers and enthusiasts on the occasion of London's Frieze Art Fair 2015 and coinciding with Ai Weiwei' s ground-breaking exhibition at the Royal Academy, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to view and reflect upon the globalised art world, both past and present, within an intimate salon setting. Ranging from post Tian An Men artists such as Zhang Huan (b.1965) and Fang Lijun (b.1963), to the rising generation of young abstract and conceptual artists including Zhao Zhao (b.1982) and Wang Yi (b.1991), as well as Sun Wen (b. 1982) who combines the technique of classical ink painting and present-day visions, this exhibition provides a cohesive overview of the Chinese contemporary art landscape over the past 15 years.
