ASP: Artist Self-Publishers’ Fair

ASP: Artist Self-Publishers’ Fair The Artist Self-Publishers' Fair The Eighth
70+ Artist Self-Publishers This one-day event will promote and celebrate their work. You must be an artist
2.

The Artist Self-Publishers’ (ASP) Fair takes place at Conway Hall on 16th December 2023, in partnership with Picpus Press, Camden Art Centre and Tank Magazine - bringing together over 70 UK
and international independent artist self-publishers. The publications are the artworks: affordable, available, and unfettered by institution or gallery; ideas, images
and texts produced and published by arti

sts who exploit both the limitations and the freedoms of the printed page. Today’s contemporary art scene is characterized by relentless commercialism; with the Camden Art Centre's generous help, the ASP Fair aims to circumvent the restrictions this imposes on individual artist self-publishers. In contrast to the current proliferation of ‘opportunities’, exhibition at the fair is restricted to artist self-publishers only. We will shortly announce the artist self-publishers taking part in this year’s fair. In addition to those selected by ASP, 10 places will be allocated via open submission

The submissions criteria is simple:
1. The work is self-published
3. The publication is for sale

Very sad news, Mark Pawson has passed away. He was a regular at ASP Fair since the beginning. A real trooper in the self publishing community. He'll be much missed.
