Our flagship contemporary space has moved to the heart of London, moments from Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street Tubes.

Established in 2016 through the unification of Albemarle Gallery (est. 1996) with its contemporary associate Shine Artists (est. 2011), London-based Pontone Gallery represents an extensive roster of international artists who work across several disciplines, from painting to photography to sculpture. Notwithstanding the wide variety of practices undertaken by the gallery artists, craft, skill and t

echnical excellence are common to all. Pontone Gallery is committed to nurturing those who marry conceptual integrity to a thrilling mastery of their medium. In addition to participating in art fairs across the US and Asia, Pontone Gallery further developed its international program this past year by opening a US satellite space in Augusta, GA. In both its UK and its international programs, Pontone Gallery seeks to highlight the intersection of contemporary objectives with traditional concepts, championing artists who explore such ideas through their work.

Supernova II Chris Rivers  Now on view at Pontone Gallery

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the opening of Chris Rivers’ exhibition ‘Supernova II’ at Pontone Gallery.

The exhibition presents atmospheric paintings shaped by British myth, folklore, and the Romantic imagination, where turbulent landscapes and celestial imagery emerge through pulsating veils of luminous colour and expressive layers of oil paint.

The exhibition will remain on view until 30 May.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the opening of Deborah Grice’s exhibition ‘Incandescence’ at Pontone Gallery.

Marking the artist’s inaugural presentation with the gallery, the exhibition brings together atmospheric landscape paintings shaped by a deep connection to place, where expressive, light-filled scenes meet subtle structural interventions in a contemporary context.
