Over the last few days we have had the pleasure of welcoming almost 200 children from local Primary Schools to the Foyle Valley Railway Museum to participate in our Halloween Events. We also have a Family Event running this Saturday 25th October 12-2pm and an Adult Ghost Storytelling Event next Monday 27th October for anyone else who would like the opportunity to visit the Museum.

We were delighted to attend the launch of the new Railways Connections Booklet at the weekend. The booklet was produced by Donegal Railway Heritage Museum in collaboration with Foyle Valley Railway Museum thanks to the Shared Island Civic Society Fund. This collection of stories and memories is equal parts informative, nostalgic, and funny, providing a great insight into the cultural importance of our railways. Copies of the booklet are now available at The Foyle Valley Railway Museum and the Donegal Railway Heritage Museum.
