Opened in 1995 as a memorial to the men, women and children of Lowestoft who died in both world wars. This is the official face book page of the Lowestoft War Memorial Museum. Opened in 1995 by local historian Jack Rose as a memorial to the men, women, and children of Lowestoft who died in the town during both world wars. Our five exhibition areas and dedicated memorial chapel, housed over two flo

ors of the former Royal Navy Patrol Service Headquarters, contains a unique collection of artefacts, uniforms, weapons and photographs relating to Lowestoft in both world wars. The names of those killed in Lowestoft are housed in the memorial chapel. New for this year is the roll of honour for the Great War, containing almost 1,000 names of Lowestoft people who died in service or as a result of war action between 1914 and 1920.
