Get • It’s Christmas!

Dear friends, thank you so much for following me here on Instagram where together, we can share our work, ideas, news and views.
This year, I had my first two exhibitions, firstly at General Office Gallery with Simon and Sarah, and secondly at Wildegoose Nursery with Jack and Laura. I will be forever grateful to you all for inviting me and having faith in my work. Thank you.
Apart from actually producing the work, the next best thing was finding that I had customers and supporters, and I was overjoyed that people bought my paintings, it was a delightful experience.
All this positivity was against a backdrop of sadness as a dear friend fought terminal cancer and sadly passed away in August. In the motorsport community, he was always massively enthusiastic, gave 110% on the track, and was bloody good fun. I am supporting the charity Brain Tumour Research by donating a percentage of sales of my Loton Park series of cards, which you will find on my website - link in bio.
I also have a few paintings with . The horror of what is happening in Gaza x the West Bank is shocking, and the least I can do is hopefully make some sales for this charity.
I will add more work in 2026.
Also in 2026 I will be taking part in Dulwich Artists’ Open Houses with my sister . It would be great to see you there, just a walk across Dulwich Park from Dulwich Picture Gallery . We will be open on the first weekend 8/9/10 May!
Wishing you all a Happy Christmas/Seasons Greetings!
Mary x

Sharon Griffin WIP

Another wonderful artist from the old Twenty Twenty Gallery stable, is Sharon Griffin MRSS. A proficient painter, but she always had her hands in clay, and it is her relationship and handling of clay that has built her reputation. The ability to connect, emotionally, through her work is a powerful gift. Exciting to see new work!

Get • GRIFFIN ( swipe )

I took my stepdads name when I was 7. My mom re married. If I remember right, my suster and I painted a version of their wedding day and it went on the front cover if the school ‘ newspaper’

Everybody knew about their marriage ... we didnt go. It was a private wedding for them.

As I enter into my own marriage ... now as a Mrs Mooney ... was Massey and known as Griffin ... I wonder what these names I have been given mean to me...

This is a version of my imagined self on a GRIFFIN

More to come i think.

Get • Wildegoose Nursery

The Winter Weekend is now over for another year, and what a wonderful treat it was! The wreaths were amazing, all made from flowers and foliage from the nursery, and there were great gifts, all garden and nature related, which you can buy online at Wildegoose Nursery website, link in bio. There were the most delicious cakes in the tearoom, I had a different one everyday, and of course my paintings and drawings on the walls, which you can now see on my website, link in bio.

Thank you so much to all who came, supported and bought! It was a small collection of work but I think shows some progress!

Next exhibition - Dulwich Open Houses in May 2026!

Wildegoose Nursery

Jack and Laura Willgoss in the Glasshouse, before their fabulous Winter Weekend, when the walled garden, the plant shop and the tearoom becomes a magical wintry wonder!

I love Wildegoose Nursery, what Jack and Laura have created with their small, but perfect team, is amazing.

If you can’t get to this event, make sure you visit next year!
