We are delighted to be hosting Blackmore Gallery’s ‘Peter Hayes at 80’ exhibition at the gallery on Friday 5th June (7-9pm). All are welcome!
Peter Hayes is a renowned British sculptor, celebrated for his innovative use of raku firing and natural weathering processes. He creates sculptural forms that reflect the effects of time, erosion and the landscape. His work is deeply influenced by extensive travels in Africa, India, Japan and other parts of the world. His works are held in public and private collections internationally.
This show is a celebration of the artist career having turned 80 years young earlier this year. Peter will be in attendance and has produced some exciting new work inspired by his past.
We will be having a gallery rehang to complement Peter’s sculptures, including some new works!
