Artisian

Artisian A collection of works available from local artist Sian Reading Sian currently resides in Macclesfield and is a member of the Bollington Art Group.

She lived for a number of years in Littlehampton before travelling to Japan where she also studied Sumi-e. (Japanese Brush painting).Her family still live on the south coast and have been the inspiration for the selected works featuring the coast line with marine maps and fish. She uses a range of media and techniques and is always open to new methods and materials. Many of the works of collage us

e recycled materials. She uses her love of drawing and watercolour to create the marine scenes while bright colours and quirkiness are apparent in her fish compositions. Her collages often contain poetry or music that may have inspired the work.
