Owain Glyndŵr NEEDS YOU!
Secure Canolfan Owain Glyndŵr’s iconic place in Welsh heritage and culture!
Owain Glyndŵr was a Welsh leader, soldier and military commander in the late Middle Ages, who led a 15-year-long Welsh revolt with the aim of ending English rule in Wales. He was an educated lawyer, and the last native-born Welshman to claim the title Prince of Wales.
Canolfan and Senedd-dy Owain Glyndŵr is the site in Machynlleth, Powys, where Glyndŵr was crowned, and formed the first Welsh parliament. The building needs conservation work, accessibility improvements, and to create more opportunities for locals and visitors to get involved to secure the future of the site. We need your support to demonstrate its importance to the people, heritage and culture of Wales.
Join Glyndŵr's Campaign to show the weight of support for Canolfan Owain Glyndŵr to gain much-needed funding, to conserve and improve these fascinating buildings for locals, visitors, and future generations, and share Glyndŵr's legendary place in Welsh and UK history.
