Lots of fun today at the Friday Art Group creating pieces inspired by Grid Journaling techniques. We gridded out our paper with masking tape, made abstract marks in various media across the whole piece - then removed the masking tape to reveal 6 small abstracts on each page ……….
A good art-filled morning in good company !

STOP PRESS: The gallery will also be open tomorrow ( Sunday 29th March ) from 11am till 2pm as part of this weekend’s ’Get Into Eccles’ Festival, thanks to offers from volunteers and members of our Friday Art Group to give us a couple more hours of their time !
Come to the gallery and look at our exhibition of all things Eccles - we’d love to see you there !

Why not go along to this on 13th December. There’ll be lots of stalls to browse ( and maybe l the odd Christmas present or decoration to buy ) including two run by a couple of our gallery volunteers / craftspeople - Pam Pickard and Barbara Thomas ….
Support them and the rest of the stall holders at this local Christmas event!
