Quench is launching a summer holidays programme for kids and we need your help.
On Thursday (Tomorrow!!!) at 6pm we are auctioning 10 artworks by Lindsey Mendick ‘For Sale: Baby Shoes, Never Worn’ all the funds raised will go towards our Summer School for young people.
Over the summer holidays, two days a week we will open quench for creative local young people. There will be visiting artists, trips to other galleries and during the five week course we’ll learn printing, painting, collage and drawing techniques. Participants will build a portfolio of work that will be assessed for an Arts Award Bronze level and we’ll have an exhibition at the end of the summer.
Applications open in May but first we need your help raising the funds, we have started a crowdfund over on Spacehive please share and donate if you can.
