Could you be our next tour guide?

Do you want to build your confidence and tell a remarkable story?

Foxton Canal Museum is looking for volunteer guides for the summer season.

This is a good opportunity for anyone interested in local history, heritage or museums.

We need someone to speak to our visitors, explain the fascinating story of Foxton clearly and help bring a unique local heritage site to life.

You do not need to be an expert. We will provide training and support.

Flexible summer opportunities available.

Coming this weekend FESTIVAL OF HISTORICAL CANAL BOATS AT FOXTON LOCKS!
Celebrating 60 years of the Historical Canal Boat Club.

Friday 5th to Sunday 7th

* Guided tours of the incline plane with entry to the museum
* Great way of learning the working past from experienced owners
* Explore more history in the Canal Museum
* Listen to the legendary John Maher outside Bridge 61
* Bridge 61 Pub staying open until late both Friday & Saturday evenings
