From September to April, we have Monday evening meetings for demonstrations or presentations by professional artists. In November and June, there are exhibitions of members' works for sale. There are 170 members of Milngavie Art Club. Membership is open to anyone residing within the postal area of Milngavie and the surrounding communities at the discretion of the committee. From painting in watercolours, acrylics or oils, to embroidery, jewellery-making or pottery, our interests are wide-ranging. The club meets on the third Monday of the month from 7:30p.m. in the Lesser Town Hall, Milngavie, from September to April of the following year. Established artists give demonstrations and/or presentations, with questions from the audience followed by tea or coffee. Occasionally, members can bring in their own work for a constructive critique by an experienced artist.
